Our Team

Arshiya Mittal - Founder

She established Arshiya Foundation in 2017 to work with vulnerable homeless families in the city on issues of food security, transitional education access, financial education, skill enhancement and entrepreneurship development. Her passion lies in the upliftment of marginalized communities across India into more secure lives.

She is also an educationist providing management oversight to Marwari Vidyalaya High School, a 105-year old institution under the care of Mittal Charities. Arshiya’s work at MVHS over the past two years has focused on systematically improving the quality of education and developing a scalable model for other low-income private schools. Her work primarily lies in curriculum advancement, infrastructural and technological growth, pedagogical facilitation and child advancement interventions.

A graduate of Brown University, an Ivy-League institution in Rhode Island, USA, Arshiya focused her college education in Political Science and Anthropology earning a Bachelor of Arts, from the university.


Aparna Kishore - Program Head

Her role is to build relationships with partner organizations, implement and coordinate a wide range of activities and initiatives which are designed to have a positive impact on the community. She is equally responsible for the Branding and Marketing strategies of the foundation.

She has a keen interest to work towards community development and believes in giving back to society. She has over 10 years of industry experience with reputed corporates.


Rupesh Jadhav – Field Worker

He has been working with Arshiya Limited for the past 8 years. He is a field facilitator and has been involved with "The Joyful Spoon" program since its implementation. He is in charge of managing and ensuring the efficient distribution of food for the smooth running of the program.
